This divine owl woman flew into my art world and changed it - and me - forever. Her head is that of a horned owl, feathered and beaked yet with smoky blue eyes rather than the traditional golden, reflecting her otherworldly wisdom. Her body, on the other hand, is a woman's form: skin the color and glow of pale moonlight, the only indication of her owl-side being dark, curved talons in place of fingernails. Grand wings sprout from between her shoulders, companions to her owl head, the lighter underside feathers taking on a blue-cast from the deep night and moonlight. She wears an elegant white gown, also reflecting the night's shadows and Moon's glow. Her head is adorned by a silver circlet set with a dangling topaz while her gown is embellished with an ornately-cradled moonstone, as topaz aids in dealings with the living and moonstone with all otherworldly matters. Her face is contemplative yet hopeful, melancholy eyes combined with an assured smile. Her hands are clutched to her heart - in prayer, in wish, in intention-setting and spell-casting.
